How AquaFit Goggles Work — and Why It Matters

Step 1: Find Your Fit

Every face is different. AquaFit offers four distinct goggle profiles — from the streamlined low-profile Blue Magic Mirror Gold for competitive swimmers, to the wide-vision Large Frame for recreational athletes who want maximum field of view, to the full-face seal of the KEEP DIVING for open water and triathlon.

To test if a goggle fits before buying: press the goggle gently to your face without the strap. A proper-fitting goggle will stay in place for 3–5 seconds via suction. That suction = your watertight seal.

Step 2: The Seal is Everything

AquaFit uses soft liquid silicone gaskets on every model. Silicone is skin-friendly, flexible, and forms a suction bond to your face rather than digging in. The difference between a good seal and a bad one is the difference between your entire focus staying on your stroke — or constantly adjusting your gear.

Our gaskets are designed to accommodate a wide range of face shapes. If you have a rounder face or high cheekbones, the Wide-Vision Large Frame and KEEP DIVING Full-Mask models have larger gasket footprints that create a better contact surface.

Step 3: Fog-Free Vision

All AquaFit lenses use an electrochemically bonded anti-fog coating. The coating works by preventing water vapor from condensing into droplets on the lens surface — instead, moisture spreads evenly and stays transparent.

To preserve the anti-fog coating: never touch the inside of the lens with your fingers or a cloth. Rinse with clean water after each use and air dry.

Step 4: UV & Glare Protection

Our mirrored and tinted lenses filter UV light and reduce glare, which matters more than most people realize during outdoor sessions and open water events. Harsh sunlight reflecting off the water surface causes squinting and fatigue that compounds over long training sessions.
